“My experience includes working in a Children’s crisis center for children who were abused, neglected, run away, or abandoned. I worked within IDOC 7 years, providing substance abuse treatment. I worked developing and facilitating the Senior Solutions behavioral health treatment program in Southern Illinois, bringing much-needed services to senior adults suffering from mental health illness and loss of independence. I currently provide therapy to patients ages 12 and over who struggle with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, PTSD, grief, and mood disorders, empowering them to overcome these struggles. I use a client-centered approach, most commonly using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma Informed therapies.”
