| Locations:
Shawnee Health, Carterville
“I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I have worked in the field of mental health for the past 5 years. I participated in the Trauma-Based Behavioral Health Fellowship through SIU School of Medicine and I gain the majority of my professional experience through crisis intervention, individual outpatient treatment and school-based counseling. I work with children, teens and adults, providing treatment for a variety of mental health struggles, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, mood and adjustment disorders, and behavioral and relationship issues. Additionally, I work with the LGBTQ+ communities, specifically transgender individuals, to assist and advocate in obtaining necessary documentation and treatment. As a therapist, I practice an inclusive, supportive, person-centered approach. I commonly utilize a blend of treatment modalities including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Strength-Based Therapy.”
