“I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.  I work with patients ages 12 and up.  I have gained the majority of my experience working at Shawnee Health, however, have completed internships at The Women’s Center (currently known as Survivor Empowerment Center) and Carbondale Police Department with Victim Advocacy.  I work with patients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma and substance use, as well as, with patients who are in domestic violence situations. In addition, I work with the LGBTQ+ population, with a specific interest in working with transgender patients. Treatment modalities commonly use are Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Strength Based Therapy.”
