“I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC). I have worked with youth inside institutions and schools for over 12 years providing individual and group counseling. My focus has been to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to elicit positive and lasting change from patients who desire to work towards skills to better help manage their emotions and behavior. I have worked with an international and diverse group of patients who presented with a variety of simple to complex issues that have caused me to grow with a greater knowledge and understanding of the germane issues faced by an ever growing and complex patient population. My goals as a counselor are to meet patients where they are at and provide professional services to meet their needs and address all the issues that are important. As a trauma informed mental health provider, I provide a level of care that allows patients to move at their pace while providing active listening, encouragement, and support throughout the process.”
